Mystery behind saneeswara temple, Tamilnadu

The Message swirling around the globe was:

A satellite sent by Nasa, while going round the globe, pauses automatically for three seconds when it crosses a particular spot over the Saneeswarar temple (a Hindu temple dedicated for Saturn), in Thirunallar near Tanjore at Tamil nadu, India. Nasa has also officially accepted such an effect, sent some of its scientists to the said place and could not find a possible scientific explanation and that they simply returned saying ‘it is a miracle’.

The story therefore concludes that temple of the lord Saneeswarar has been correctly built at a place by the ancient people knowing that a heavy dose of UV rays are falling on the temple from space on a particular day every 30 months during the day of “sani peyarchi”(Shifting of the position of the planet from one zodiac to the other, called as Saturn transverse). The same UV rays should be responsible of the slowing down of the satellite whenever it crosses that place.

This message is being forwarded by many people via e-mail and social networking sites. This was also once published in a popular private television channel in Tamilnadu. However there was no such posts on Nasa’s official website or any other confidential sites. Some people strictly disagree with the message and start mentioning the scientific feasibility of this particular function. They conclude “It is impossible”.

WHY DO THEY DISAGREE?

The points furnished for their disagreement are...

Several planetary and other gravitational forces have a constant impact on the satellites. Satellites revolve around at certain constant speed just to overcome these forces.

When a satellite pauses for even half a second, then it starts falling towards the ground.

It is impossible to stop any object that is moving at a minimum velocity of 8 k.m/sec suddenly.

Even if the satellite falls and restores it operation after 3 seconds, then it has to reach about 88 m distance upwards and at this time it must have traveled 96 Km. How is it possible?

At last according to Law of conservation of energy, Energy can only be transferred from one form to another. In a solar system Sun is the only source of energy. Light from sun falls on Saturn and reflects back. No planet have their own energy. Then how could Saturn change the density of UV rays?

Some people say that it can only stop the electronic devices and not the motion of the satellite. Then how can we see Thirunallaru from Google Maps???

So, it is confusing rite? We don’t have an exact proof for this.

But still there is a relation between Lord Saneeshwara and the ring planet, Saturn with an evidence from Nasa.

Erikkuppam, one of the few abodes of Lord Saneeswara on earth is present at Thiruvannamalai district of Tamilnadu Erikkuppam is a far away, very sparsely populated village. The lord is worshiped in the form a Yantra (a mystic design that is unique for a particular God).

About the Sanctum:

Sri Saneeswara in the sanctum sanctorum graces in a 6.5 feet tall Shivalinga form placed on a peeta of 2.5 feet width. As in Shivalinga, Moon and Sun have their places on the head. His crow vehicle is in the middle. The six faced (Shatkona) yantra with Namashivaya, basic mantras as Beejakshara and Mahalakshmi mantras are inscribed in the Linga.

One can worship Sani Bhagwan in idol form in almost all temples. He is Shivalinga form in this temple with a Yantra in the Linga. Yantra is a digramatic representation of the power of the deity that people worship.

The temple is in the midst of green fields. The entrance of the temple has a sculpture showing Sani Bhagwan in a Rath (car) drawn by 5 crows. There are also paintings of all planets with their vahans in the front hall. As there was no proper shrine earlier, even today the temple has no roof. Sunlight, wind, rain, all fall on the temple directly. It is suggested to offer archanas with Vilwa leaves related to Shiva worship. With due regard to the Easwara title Sani Bhagwan enjoys, a king built this temple for the planet installing Him as a linga with the yantras. The temple disappeared due to ravages of time leaving the Linga alone in the open space. Later, people built this temple. As He graces as a Linga with Yantras, He is known as Enthira Saneeswarar.

Saturn-Sani Bhagwan is the son of Sun God. The sacred spring bearing His name-Bhaskara Theertham – is among the fields. Abishek is perfomed with this spring water and offered as Prasad to devotees.

This yantra was found inscribed on a stone tablet. When its existence came to be known, people constructed a temple for it and started worshiping it as Shani Bhagawan.

What is Special About this Temple?

About the Yantra:

On the top portion of Shiva linga are carved the Sun and the Moon with the Crow (Lord’s vehicle) in between. Beneath is a hexagonal carving with scalloped edge housing a form like a star (like the Star of David….a common simple rangoli that you will be familiar with in the Southern households).

At each point of the hexagon, there are three lines (like a Trishul) .Below this there are two more Yanthras one on the right and one on the left.the Mahalakshmi Yanthra and the Pancha Bootha Yanthra…with the Bheeja Manthras of Mahalakshmi and Appu and Theyu (Water and Fire) . In the central Saneeswara Yanthra are carved the Bheeja Manthras of the Lord Saneeswara, Lord Siva and Lord Anjaneya.

For the people to have a good look, the Sun, Moon, the Crow, the hexagon & the triangles have been covered with metal plates carved to the shape. We can see the figures and letters on the Deity if we watch with concentration. He is on a Peetha and near Him is the Yanthra of His Mother Chaya Devi which was found buried near His Moorthy.

These designs on Shree Saneeswara were carved more than thousand five hundred years ago by the evolved souls. Our ancient Rishis had academic and spiritual facts on all the planets even before the scientists discovered them.

Saturn and Shaneeswara:

Science fact is something far stranger than the fiction. There is something beyond human knowledge. Thats the act of siddhas – The divine humans. The latest is one among that which is related to our Sree Saneeswara Bhagavan at Erikuppam. Recently NASA released a new picture taken by Cassini, a satellite probe currently orbiting around Planet Saturn.

Cassini:

Cassini–Huygens is a joint NASA/ESA/ASI spacecraft mission studying the planet Saturn and its many natural satellites since 2004. Launched in 1997 after nearly two decades of gestation, it includes a Saturn orbiter and an atmospheric probe/lander for the moon Titan, although it has also returned data on a wide variety of other things including the Heliosphere, Jupiter, and relativity tests.

The Pictures by Cassini at about 902000 kilometers, using spectrometer techniques show clearly a Hexagon shaped cloud formation which covers the entire north pole of Saturn. The Hexagon is nearly 25000 kilometres across and nearly four earths could fix inside it officials from NASA says. “This is a very strange feature, lying in a precise geometric fashion with six nearly equally straight sides” says kevin baines, atmospheric expert at NASA. NASA exclaimed that they have never seen anything like this in any other planet and Saturn will be the only planet to see such hexagonal geometric figure and they stated it is a permanent structure.

Now here is something more mystic and mythic which coincides with the fact. The Hexagonal Geometry shown by NASA’s picture resembles more the inscriptions shown in the yandra of Sree Yandra Saneeswarar Temple. The Inscriptions as we know is 1500 years old i.e., the day when there was no science and technology. It is a remarkable coincidence and it is believed that is an act of Siddhas who with their supra celestial power inscribed the image on Holy Sree Yandra Saneeswara. This strengthens the relationship between the astrology and science.

If you watch carefully, it is not exactly Hexagon, but two equilateral triangles placed opposite to each other. This also give 6 nodal points like a Hexagon and you can see flames coming out of the six nodal points, like a torch.

This revelation adds more glory to “Sri Yandra Saneeswara” at Erikuppam.
